The procedure is similar for Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln Town Car.
Removal & Installation:--
Remove the LH lower instrument panel insulator.
Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and the trim panel.
Remove the 2 Data Link Connector (DLC) screws.
Detach the vacuum line.
Remove the Lighting Control Module (LCM).
Remove the screws.
Disengage the clip.
Remove the LCM .
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Remove the screws and the LCM bracket.
Remove the floor/defrost door vacuum control motor.
Remove the clip.
Remove the 2 floor/defrost door vacuum control motor nuts.
Remove the floor/defrost door vacuum control motor.
Disconnect the floor/defrost door vacuum control motor vacuum connectors.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
