Dodge RAM: Fuel Filter Replacing?

How to replace fuel filter on 2005 Dodge Ram Truck.

The procedure here Covers all U.S. and Canadian models of the Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 2WD & 4WD models of Year  2001 - 2005.

The fuel filter replacing with details and diagram are as follows:-----

To start the task

1. Remove or disconnect the following:
   
   
   Negative battery cables

   Water In Filter (WIF) sensor connector

   Separator filter assembly

To install:

Fig. Fuel filter/water separator assembly and related components

1. Install or connect the following:
   
   
   Separator filter assembly with a new O-ring seal

   WIF sensor connector

   Negative battery cables
2. Bleed air from the system.
3. Start the engine and check for leaks.
