Replacing Cylinder head on Cadillac 5.7L & 6.0L Engines?

The details mentioned here are for Cadillac CTS and DTS car models.
Its for 5.7L & 6.0L Engines Cadillac car models.
Complete cylinder head replacing details and diagrams are provided.

The procedure to replace Cylinder head is as follows:----

5.7L & 6.0L Engines
Left Side
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Drain the cooling system.
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Valve cover
    Rocker arms
    Pushrods
    Intake manifold
    Coolant air bleed pipe
    Power steering pump and mounting bracket
    Exhaust manifold
    Engine wiring harness
    Ground strap
    Cylinder head bolts
    Cylinder head
To install:
  1. Install the cylinder head with a new gasket. Tighten bolts in sequence as follows:
    1. Step 1: Tighten bolts 1-10 in to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
    2. Step 2: Tighten bolts 1-10 in an additional 90 degrees.
    3. Step 3: Tighten bolts 1-10 an additional 70 degrees.
    4. Step 4: Tighten bolts 11-15 to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).

  2. Install or connect the following:

    Engine wiring harness
    Ground strap. Tighten bolt to 24 ft. lbs. (32 Nm).
    Exhaust manifold
    Power steering pump. Tighten mounting bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
    Coolant air bleed pipe. Tighten bolts to 106 inch lbs. (12 Nm).
    Intake manifold
    Pushrods
    Rocker arms
    Valve cover
    Negative battery cable
  3. Refill the cooling system.
  4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
Right Side
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Drain the cooling system.
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Valve cover
    Rocker arms
    Pushrods
    Intake manifold
    Coolant air bleed pipe
    Oil level indicator tube
    Exhaust manifold
    Engine wiring harness
    Negative battery cable from the right cylinder head
    Cylinder head bolts
    Cylinder head
To install:
  1. Install the cylinder head with a new gasket. Tighten bolts in sequence as follows:
    1. Step 1: Tighten bolts 1-10 in to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
    2. Step 2: Tighten bolts 1-10 in an additional 90 degrees.
    3. Step 3: Tighten bolts 1-10 an additional 70 degrees.
    4. Step 4: Tighten bolts 11-15 to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).

  2. Install or connect the following:

    Engine wiring harness
    Ground strap. Tighten bolt to 24 ft. lbs. (32 Nm).

    Intake manifold
    Pushrods

  3. Refill the cooling system.
