How to replace steering wheel on Ford E series?

The Steering wheel replacing procedure for Ford E series Vans is as follows:---

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
2. Turn the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position and turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
3. Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to the following section, -Air Bag, Removal & Installation.-
4. If equipped, disconnect the steering wheel switches electrical connector and position it aside.
5. Remove and discard the steering wheel bolt.
   
   WARNING

   Do not allow the clockspring to turn from its removal position or damage to the clockspring may occur.
6. Using the Differential Bearing Remover, remove the steering wheel. Remove the steering wheel while routing the wires from the clockspring through the steering wheel.
7. Tape the clockspring center rotor to the outer housing to keep it from rotating.
8. Installation is the reverse order of removal. Tighten the steering wheel bolt to 28 ft. lbs. (38 Nm).
