Cadillac Accessory Drive Belts Removal for CTS & DTS models?

The details mentioned here are for Cadillac CTS and DTS car models.
In this section drive belt replacing routing and detailed diagrams are provided. How to inspect serpentine belt.
The detailed diagrams are provided for 2.8L engine,3.6L engine,4.6L engine,5.7L Engine and 6.0L Engine.

All is provided.

Accessory Drive Belts

Adjustment:
Belt tension is automatically adjusted by the belt tensioner.

Inspection

Inspect the drive belt for signs of glazing or cracking. A glazed belt will be perfectly smooth from slippage, while a good belt will have a slight texture of fabric visible. Cracks will usually start at the inner edge of the belt and run outward. All worn or damaged drive belts should be replaced immediately.

Removal & Installation

2.8L & 3.6L Engines
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Using a 1 / 2 drive breaker bar or ratchet, rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to release tension on the drive belt.
  3. Remove the drive belt from the generator pulley.
  4. Slowly release the drive belt tensioner.
  5. Remove the drive belt from the water pump pulley and crankshaft balancer.
  6. Using a 1 / 2 drive breaker bar or ratchet, rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to release tension on the drive belt.
  7. Remove the drive belt from the power steering pump pulley.
  8. Slowly release the drive belt tensioner.
  9. Remove the drive belt from the air conditioning (A/C) compressor pulley, idler pulley, and crankshaft balancer.
