Oil Pump Removal on Chrysler Crossfire?

The Chrysler Crossfire Oil pump replacing with step by step info and helpful diagrams.

The complete removal/ install procedure for oil pump is as follows :---

1. Remove or disconnect the following: 
   
   
   Lower oil pan

   Oil pump bolts

   Release the oil pump timing chain tensioner and remove the oil pump 
   
   
   

   Fig. Oil pump mounting bolt locations (1)

To install:

1. Fill the oil pump with clean engine oil.
2. Position the pump driven sprocket into the drive chain.
3. Install and torque the bolts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).
4. Install the lower oil pan.
5. Fill the engine with oil.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
