In this chapter the HVAC control panel removal procedure is mentioned.
The details are as follows:-----
- Remove the Instrument Panel (I/P) center trim panel (1) by pulling out on the trim panel in order to release the retaining fasteners (2).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors on the Instrument Panel (I/P) center trim panel (1).
- Remove the HVAC control panel screws.
- Remove the HVAC control panel (module) assembly.
NOTEThe HVAC control connector and the radio connector can be interchanged by mistake. Mark or place tape on the connector to avoid accidental interchange. - Disconnect the HVAC control panel assembly electrical connectors.
To install:
- Connect the HVAC control panel assembly electrical connectors.
- Install the HVAC control panel (module) assembly.
- Install the HVAC control panel screws. Tighten the screws to 19 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
- Connect the electrical connectors on the I/P center trim panel (1).
- Install the I/P center trim panel (1) by pressing in on the trim panel in order to attach the retaining fasteners (2).
